A Secure Gateway endpoint represents a single target device or application being secured by Gabriel. For example, a Gabriel device may secure a locally running web server and a camera located elsewhere on the same network. The web server and camera count as one (1) endpoint each.
Requirements: A “Premium” or “Gateway” subscription is required in order create new Secure Gateway endpoints. A “Gateway” subscription allows a user to access (or utilize) multiple existing Secure Gateway endpoints hosted by their trusted peer(s). In order to host a service at least one Gateway Endpoints “pack” is required. Each pack includes 5 endpoints services.
Users in the “MYVIRNETX.SCOM™” domain do not have access to create new endpoint, however they can access their friend’s endpoints if hosted on “Unique Private and Secure Domain”. In all cases, due to device limitations, mobile devices cannot be used to host (i.e. act as a server for) Secure Gateway Endpoints.

Note: Users in the “MYVIRNETX.SCOM™” domain cannot initiate connections with anyone in “Unique Private and Secure Domains” unless the domain administrator has first enabled this in the domain policy. By default, this capability is turned off.

All users have access to public web-based support forum located at https://www.gabrielsecure.com/support/forums/ for posting support related questions. After registering to the forum, users can post their questions or comments regarding Gabriel. These questions are generally answered either by other registered users on the system or in some cases by support staff which monitor these forums.
Additionally, those with a “Premium” subscription can contact support from inside of the Gabriel App or via Phone/Email. Those with a “Gateway” subscription can contact support using Phone/Email.
A Gabriel Domain Server is a specialized Gabriel device that performs dedicated server functions for all of the users in a domain. These services include Secure Mail routing and storage, Chat/Messaging backup and syncing and Secure Share file hosting.
This server can be hosted in the cloud or on supported hardware behind your firewall. We a recommend hosting your own Domain Servers, however VirnetX hosting is available. Contact Sales for more details regarding hosting options.

Domain administrators can configure their Domain Server such that all chat, share, sync, and mail activity of their domain users is saved for regulatory compliance and audit purpose. This feature is only available in “Unique Private and Secure Domains”. This is considered a BETA feature because are still working to increase its capability.

The “Unique Private and Secure Domain” is a completely private and secure address for your group, department or business. A private and secure domain name with a unique extension (like .scom™, .sgov™, .snet™, .sorg™ or .sjp™) is issued for each member of the domain (e.g: bob.securedomain.scom or bob.securedomain.sgov). Gabriel Collaboration Suite users and 3rd party applications utilize Gabriel Secure domains to protect communications and information. Gabriel Secure Domain users are issued a dynamic and unique IP address upon connecting to any peer in the domain.
Users will create an available username in the “MYVIRNETX.SCOM™” domain (i.e. john.myvirnetx.scom) during in-app registration from the Gabriel app
